Attention Parents: The Pacifica Will Wow You

It’s that back-to-school time of the year! Kids dread it, parents… maybe not so much. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica makes back to school easy (and fun!) for all involved. The Chrysler Pacifica is jam-packed with so many innovative, family-friendly features, it will make driving your kids to school, sports, extracurricular activities, and carpool duty a breeze.

The Chrysler Pacifica is new for the 2017 model year, replacing the Town & Country as Chrysler’s flagship minivan. The Pacifica is arguably the biggest leap forward the minivan segment has ever seen. Here are the top innovations on the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica:

Available hybrid drivetrain. The Pacifica Hybrid will deliver an estimated range of 30 electric-only driving miles as well as an EPA-estimated 80 miles per gallon equivalent fuel economy rating in the city. The battery pack fits under the floor in the second-row seat area, and it can be fully re-charged in 2 hours using a 240-volt power source! Even if you don’t choose the hybrid model, the standard Pacifica receives a best-in-class 28 highway mpg. Late Availability
Stow-and-Go seats. Chrysler was the first automaker to offer second-row seats that fold down into the floor and disappear -- most minivans you have to remove the seats from the vehicle. Chrysler is still the only automaker that offers stow-and-go seating, and the Chrysler Pacifica’s stow-and-go feature is power-operated, meaning the seats fold down with just the touch of a button.
Safety technology. The Chrysler Pacifica is the first minivan to offer available parallel and perpendicular park assist, forward collision warning with brake mitigation, land departure warning with mitigation, and rear park assist.
Convenience features. The Chrysler Pacifica is chock-full of convenient features that parents will love. It’s the first van with a hands-free rear hatch and hands-free sliding doors, all of which open with a simple swipe of your foot underneath! For added convenience, you can also opt for an in-vehicle vacuum system. The vacuum is conveniently stowed in the second row and extends to clean all corners of the van, but is only available on the Pacifica’s top trim.
High-tech entertainment options. The Pacifica offers three levels of Uconnect entertainment options. The top options feature a large 8.4-inch central display touchscreen, plus two 10-inch rear touchscreens to provide entertainment for the second-row passengers. The Uconnect system allows kids sitting in the second row to use apps on the touchscreen to play games and even check travel progress.

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is certainly a game-changer for minivans. If you’re a parent looking to make your life a little easier while still looking stylish, come to Expressway Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and take the Pacifica out for a test drive! This is one you’ll have to see to believe.
